# Commissions and Payouts

> How a referred order becomes a commission, and how and when you're paid.

Every order credited to one of your [tracking links](https://docs.immitranslate.com/affiliates/tracking-links.md) earns a commission of 20% of the order total. Commissions are held for 30 days to cover the refund window, then approved and paid in the next monthly payout.

## Commission statuses

The [Transactions page](https://portal.immitranslate.com/affiliate/transactions) lists every referred order with its commission, status, link and sub-ID. Filter it by status, or by link from the Links page, and export it as CSV.

| Status | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Pending** | The order was placed and the 30-day hold is running. The date it approves is shown under the status. |
| **Approved** | The hold has passed. The commission is waiting for the next monthly payout. |
| **Paid** | The commission was included in a payout. |
| **Reversed** | The order was refunded, voided or cancelled, so the commission was reversed. |

Orders credited by [email matching](https://docs.immitranslate.com/affiliates/tracking-links.md#newsletters-and-email-matching) show **Email match** under the link.

## Refunds and cancellations

* A **refunded, voided or cancelled** order reverses its commission. A pending order that's refunded, voided or cancelled is never approved.
* A **partial refund** reduces the commission by the same share of the order. A $50 refund on a $200 order reduces a $40 commission to $30.
* If the commission was **already paid**, the reversal or reduction is deducted from your next payout.

## Payouts

Payouts are made once a month, 30 days in arrears: each payout includes every commission approved and not yet paid. If your approved balance is under **\$100**, it carries over to the next month.

Your payouts and their reference numbers are on the [Payouts page](https://portal.immitranslate.com/affiliate/payouts), and we email you when a payout is sent.

### Payout methods

Choose where your commissions are sent in [Settings → Payouts](https://portal.immitranslate.com/settings/payouts).

| - | - | - |
| PayPal | Everywhere | Your PayPal email address |
| Payoneer | Everywhere | Your Payoneer email address |
| Wise | Everywhere | Your Wise email address and currency |
| Zelle | US only | Your Zelle email address or phone number |
| Direct deposit (ACH) | US only | Your account type, routing number and account number |

Payouts are made in US dollars. As the [Affiliate Agreement](https://immitranslate.com/legal/affiliate-agreement) says, we may ask you for a W-9 or W-8 tax form before paying you.

## Qualified purchases

The [Affiliate Agreement](https://immitranslate.com/legal/affiliate-agreement) sets out which purchases qualify. Among other things, a commission isn't paid on an order that:

* came through another partner's or affiliate's link,
* was placed by you or by another partner or affiliate,
* was placed before you joined the program,
* was fraudulent, or broke our terms of service, or
* was brought in by you offering the customer a coupon or discount.
